FinCEN extends the comment period for NPRM on definition of Huione Group

FinCEN extended the comment period for its June 25, 2026 NPRM proposing to amend the definition of Huione Group to include H-Pay Service PLC and add a "successor entity" definition, following a six-day portal outage (June 25–30) that prevented electronic comment submission. Comments are now due by August 2, 2026, submitted via regulations.gov or mail to FinCEN (P.O. Box 39, Vienna, VA 22183; Docket No. FINCEN-2026-0166).
