The EU Council renewed the EU autonomous restrictive measures against ISIL/Da’esh and Al-Qaeda and persons, groups, undertakings and entities associated with them until October 31, 2027. Council Decision (CFSP) 2026/2378, adopted October 26, replaces the expiry date in Article 6(6) of Decision (CFSP) 2016/1693. It was published in the Official Journal on October 27, 2026, and entered into force on October 28, 2026.
