EU Commission Updates Defence-Related Product List for Intra-EU Transfers

The European Commission’s Delegated Directive (EU) 2026/2325, adopted July 10 and published in the Official Journal on October 19, replaces the defence-related product list annexed to Directive 2009/43/EC to align it with the EU Common Military List adopted February 23, 2026. The amendment concerns the framework for transfers of defence-related products within the EU. It enters into force on November 8, 2026, the twentieth day following publication. Member States must adopt and publish implementing measures by January 31, 2027 and apply them from February 5, 2027.
