EU Council Sanctions One Russian Businessperson to Ukraine Territorial Integrity Regime

The EU Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2026/2264, amending Decision 2014/145/CFSP imposing asset freezing sanctions on one individual in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. The designated person is a Russian businesswoman and owner of companies active in the agriculture, manufacturing, finance, consulting, construction and real estate sectors. The Council lists her as a leading businessperson operating in Russia and involved in economic sectors providing a substantial source of revenue to the Russian government.
