OFSI Opens 2026 Frozen Asset Review, Reports Due 30 November

OFSI has launched its annual Frozen Asset Review 2026, requiring all persons holding or controlling funds or economic resources owned, held or controlled by a designated person to submit a report by Monday 30 November 2026. Reports must cover all assets frozen in the UK and overseas that fall under UK financial sanctions legislation, valued as of close of business on Wednesday 30 September 2026, with shares, securities and other debt or payment instruments reported at their GBP value. Firms that have previously reported frozen assets to OFSI must still file a return, and all returns must be made on the 2026 reporting template from GOV.UK, which has been updated since last year.
